Summary

This website collects personal data in three situations: when the hosting provider technically serves the page (server log files), when the contact form is filled in, and through two strictly necessary cookies. There is no analysis of your usage behaviour, no tracking, and no sharing of data for advertising purposes.

Hosting

This website is hosted with an external hosting provider. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This may primarily include IP addresses, contact requests, and metadata or communication data.

Host: TrafficPlex GmbH, Konsul-Smidt-Str. 90, 28217 Bremen. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, reliable delivery of this website) and, where applicable, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. This typically includes: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources and serves the technically error-free operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is typically deleted automatically after a few days to a few weeks, depending on the host's configuration.

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies. No cookies are set for analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes, and no usage profiles are created. Because these cookies are required for the site to function and for the purposes described below, no consent banner is required under §25(2) No. 2 TTDSG (the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act).

You can restrict or prevent cookies in your browser settings. Since both cookies are purely technical, blocking them may mean your language setting isn't remembered or the contact form doesn't work correctly.

Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, the details you provide, name, email address and message text, along with the IP address and timestamp recorded at the time of submission, are stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The IP address is collected solely to prevent abuse, such as spam, and is not evaluated for any other purpose.

This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding effectively to enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where requested, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Data submitted through the form generally remains with us for the duration of handling your enquiry and up to six months afterwards, unless you request earlier deletion, withdraw your consent, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

Obligation to provide data

Providing your details via the contact form is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement. However, without a name, email address and message, we cannot process your enquiry or reply to it. Providing this data is therefore voluntary, but a precondition for us getting back to you.

Recipients and transfers outside the EU

Your data is not transferred to third parties, except the provider named under "Hosting" as part of data processing on our behalf. Data is not transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA unless the host explicitly states otherwise.

Data Protection Officer

A Data Protection Officer must only be appointed under certain conditions pursuant to Art. 37 GDPR in conjunction with §38 BDSG, for example where at least 20 people are regularly engaged in the automated processing of personal data, or where extensive processing of special categories of personal data or systematic, large-scale monitoring of individuals takes place. These conditions do not apply to this site, which is why no Data Protection Officer has been appointed. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right at any time to:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR), typically the authority in the German state where the controller is based, for Bavaria that is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission, indicated by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar.

Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy is updated as needed, for example when new features or services are added. It's worth checking back occasionally.
